Now that you are ready to get started, the first step is to decide where you want to do your monitoring. If you want to monitor within a forest preserve (or multiple forest preserves) you will need to register as a volunteer with those preserves and then let us know where you will be doing your monitoring.
If you are monitoring at Lake Katherine, you do not need to register as a volunteer within that forest preserve, nor do you need to register as a volunteer with LK (though that would be awesome). You do, however, need to let us know that you are doing your monitoring at LK.
